Hotel Planned For Antioch, Near Global Mall

Global Mall Partnership, a group led by Reita Agarwal and Rajesh Aggarwal, who own the inner core of the former Hickory Hollow Mall, is planning a 120-room extended-stay hotel near the property, now known as the Global Mall at the Crossing.

On behalf of the partnership, Lukens Engineering Consultants of Brentwood will seek approval from the Metro Planning Commission next month to allow a hotel on more than three acres at 927 Bell Road, the Tennessean reports.

Aggarwal owns the Best Western Plus Music Row and the Comfort Inn Downtown Nashville-Vanderbilt, and he owns land near the Gulch. The hotel near Global Mall does not have a brand nor a room count yet, but it would be more than 65K SF and include 136 parking spaces. A 4K SF chunk of that space would be devoted to a takeout restaurant.
