Imagine Hospitality, based in Mt. Juliet, acquired a 1.4-acre site in MetroCenter and is planning to develop a 100-room Comfort Suites. It will be the company's second hotel in the market, with an 80-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott slated for completion by the end of this summer.

Imagine owner Kal Patel tells the Tennessean that MetroCenter, one of Davidson County's largest business parks, is "becoming more of an outlet of Downtown." His company has other hospitality holdings in metro Nashville, including a Country Inn & Suites in Goodlettsville and a LaQuinta Inn & Suites and a Days Inn in Cookeville. [Tennessean]
