LeBron James Makes $21M Play in Brentwood

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James has paid nearly $21M for an estate in Brentwood. The 9,440 SF mansion was not listed on MLS, but sold to James several weeks ago. Meanwhile, LeBron sold his Miami waterfront compound for $13.4M.

Built in 2011 by a real estate developer, the charming, two-story traditional-style home was designed by local architect Ken Ungar. The white-wood, gabled-roof home has a stone facade front, set off by a bay window, portico, dormer windows and black shutters.

The home’s interior features a central hall entry, a sweeping staircase, wood-plank floors, a formal dining room, a gourmet kitchen, a circular breakfast area, six bedrooms and eight bathrooms. The master suite has a two-sided fireplace, a marble bathroom and a private terrace. The back of the home has a balcony and deck that expands the living area outdoors to a pool area with cabanas and spa and grassy, landscaped grounds. [LAT]
