Look who we found in Miami Beach the other day: New York financier Simon Ziff and wife Hope. Showing his real estate acuity, they weren't there just for 75 degree sunshine (and vacay with their three kids) but to see emerging neighborhoods—like along Washington Avenue—that his firm, Ackman Ziff, is active financing and selling throughout South Florida and California. No doubt the beach and warm weather pattern is pure coincidence. Another coincidence: the famous names in his firm title, which he humorously clarified for our readers in a recent piece, in case you missed it.
