$31M Construction Loan Kickstarts Ventura Project

CBRE EVP Sharon Kline (pictured zip lining in Maui) arranged the construction loan for the project, owned by Westwood developer John Ashkar. The 173-unit Parklands Apartments are expected to break ground in the next 30 days. The loan is for three years with two 12-month extensions. The lender is US Bank.

The project on Telegraph road will feature Mediterranean architecture and various courtyards, but the highlight of the project could be the elevated deck. The building will also have a full gym, coffee bar and lounge. CB EVP Marina Massari also worked on the deal.
