$144M Luxury Multifamily Project Breaks Ground

Construction has begun on the $144M luxury multifamily project at 1230 S Olive St and 1231 S Hill St in South Park. The project includes two buildings with a combined total of 362 units, and is a JV of Mack Urban, Mack Real Estate, AECOM Capital and Capri Capital Partners. Mack Real Estate Group CEO Richard Mack says DTLA is full of opportunity. Here's a shot of Mack Urban CEO Paul Keller we snapped at the site last year.

In addition to the residential portion, the development will include 4k SF of retail space, slated to feature a local restaurant. Plans also include a public park with outdoor seating and a bridge that connects the two buildings on the second-floor podium level. A JV of Tishman Construction and Morley Builders will serve as the general contractor for the project, which was designed by architects Togawa Smith Martin, the residential arm of AC Martin. Construction is scheduled for completion in Q1 2017.
