Miracle Mile Apartments to Pay Homage to Historic Predecessor

Korda Group has broken ground on The Mansfield, a seven-story mixed-used project in the Miracle Mile District, near Museum Row. Located at 5100 Wilshire Blvd, the project’s Art Deco design by Plus Architects is reminiscent of the historic 1931 movie theater that previously occupied the nearly 1.5-acre site. The 138-unit luxury project, slated for completion in 2017, includes two floors of lofts, 13k SF of street-level retail and a parking garage with electric vehicle charging stations. Three decks provide sweeping views of Downtown LA and mountains beyond, as well as a full complement of resort-style amenities—pool, Jacuzzi, lounges and fitness center. [ULA]
