Mattel Is Doing A Big-Time Addition To Its Headquarters

Mattel is expanding its El Segundo headquarters, adding a total of 445k SF.

The plan is to build three buildings at Grand Avenue and Continental Boulevard, including a 14-story, 328k SF tower at 455 Continental Blvd., dedicated to office space, design and development with an adjoining eight-story parking garage, Urbanize LA reports.

An existing building at 1955 Grand Ave. would be torn down to make way for a new six-story building with 174k SF of office space at the toy manufacturer.

Previous plans to pursue an even bigger project were scrapped.
