It was nearly a year ago that rumors first started flying that Amoeba Music on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood could soon be no more.

Now documents are showing developer GPI Properties has a new goal in mind for the property.

The plans, filed with the LA Planning Department, show a 28-story building would be built at 6400 Sunset Blvd. with 232 residential units and 7k SF of commercial space on the street level, Curbed Los Angeles reports.

Ten of the units would be for very-low-income residents.

There would also be 32,117 SF of open space and two underground parking garages.

The developer wants the demolition for the development to begin in mid-2019. The building could be finished in 2021, but would require city approval.

The building's amenities would include a room for dog grooming, a swimming pool and a spa.

The Jack in the Box across the street is also slated to possibly be demolished for a 21-story hotel.
