An East Coast commercial real estate services firm has snapped up a pair of Southern California investment sales brokers who focus on affordable housing.

Washington, D.C.-based Greysteel has hired Samuel Lacebal and Doron Peled, previously of Colliers' affordable housing group and based in Orange County, Greysteel announced Tuesday.

Lacebal joins Greysteel as a senior associate of investment sales. He will oversee affordable housing investment sales transactions in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. Lacebal had been with Colliers since January 2017, serving as an affordable housing adviser, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Peled will also move to Greysteel as a senior associate of affordable housing investment sales but will work on sales in California, Oregon and Washington.

Greysteel also hired senior transaction coordinator Sierra Marangola from Colliers' affordable housing group.

“Making a change in our industry can be incredibly disruptive, but we’ve managed to have a truly seamless shift to Greysteel and believe we’re in a better position to service our clients across the country," Peled said in a statement announcing the new hires.

Greysteel has 17 offices across the country, including in Newport Beach and Los Angeles, according to its website.
