Urbo plans to build a £175M mixed-use development at West Bar in Sheffield. The 1.4M SF project, known as West Bar Square, will be an extension of the city centre with 10 new buildings across Sheffield’s inner relief road.
Half the space will be reserved for offices. Apartments, a four-star hotel, retail and amenities will take up the other square footage. The mixed-use scheme is part of an overall face-lift for the city, including a new £480M retail area.
Urbo also has a £360M 60-acre Chesterfield Waterside project in the works, as well as a £150M multifamily development at New Bolton Woods in Bradford.
