West Houston Welcomes International Bank Regional HQ

California-based East West Bank opened its new office in West Houston at 9090 Katy Fwy. The 19k SF office will serve as the bank’s regional office, signaling that Texas is a high priority. East West Bank has $1.05B in local deposits with nine area branches, reports the Houston Business Journal.

The new space, which will include a first-floor retail location, was designed by Philadelphia-based Nelson and executed by general contractor Arch-Con. East West Bank has around 120 employees in Texas, the majority in Houston, but an exact employment number for the new office was not available. [HBJ]
