After an eight-year absence, Philip Johnson is back to design its first residential project in Houston: the luxury Aurora high-rise (pictured) by developer Chris Sims. The curved 16-story building was designed from the inside out, with a direct entry elevator for each of its 40 units. There are four units per level with two central elevators that have front and back doors, so residents can enter directly into their condos. Most of the units range between 3.5k SF and 4k SF, with a few 6.5k SF two-story penthouses. Prices start at $2M. As of Wednesday evening, five units were sold.
