While luxury condos are stalling in some areas of the city, they're moving forward in others. The owners of 2240 Mimosa Drive, along with Citiscape and Sudhoff Cos, have developed a plan for the underdeveloped side straddling River Oaks and Glendower Court.

The Glendower Court area is increasingly going vertical with recently completed additions that include Hines’ San Felipe Place office building and Randall Davis’ Chateau Ten condo mid-rise. Mimosa Terrace will be a block from the newly announced Pelican Builders tower, The Revere, and is just down the street from Pelican’s Mimosa Place patio home project under construction, as well as Stanford Oaks, a luxury townhome community that was developed in the early 1990s by the now infamous Allen Stanford.

Mimosa Terrace will attempt to tap into that market by offering 11 units ranging from 4,400 to over 9k SF with expansive terraces. The developers hope the project's prime location will attract as much interest as their commitment to outstanding design. Future residents will be zoned to acclaimed River Oaks Elementary, just blocks away, within a short walk to the Upper Kirby District and minutes by car to top private clubs.
