Oakmont Industrial Group Starts On 673K SF Of Industrial Spec

Oakmont Industrial Group will turn a 42-acre parcel in West Ten Business Park into 673K SF of industrial spec warehouse space. Oakmont is looking to capitalize on Houston's strong industrial sector and increased demand for distribution space. Oakmont will work with Pacolet Milliken Enterprises to develop the building in Parkside Capital's business park.

Oakmont West 10 is aimed at attracting modern e-commerce and sophisticated distribution users. With 36-foot minimum clear height, cross dock loading, 56-foot-wide column spacing, 70-foot-deep loading bays, ESFR sprinkler system and LED warehouse lighting, the project will have everything a high-end distribution operation will need.

The project is also in a prime location. Nearby distribution centers include Amazon's 900K SF space under construction, Igloo's 1M SF HQ and Academy Sports & Outdoors' 1.4M SF HQ. The strategic West Houston location provides access to rooftops in Houston, Austin (135 miles) and San Antonio (167 miles), servicing a total population of over 10 million people between these three MSAs and a population of 16 million people within a 200-mile radius.

NAI Partners' John Simons and Holden Rushing brokered the land sale and will represent Oakmont in leasing the facility.
