Busy Homebuilders Start Looking for More Space

American Tile & Stone leased 122k SF at ClayPoint Distribution Park. Stream Realty managing directors Matteson Hamilton and Justin Robinson repped the landlord, and say the housing boom has many homebuilder suppliers expanding—American Tile is nearly tripling its Houston footprint. They tell us the building was not divisible, so the duo had to find the exact tenant that needed the entire space. American Tile also liked the project’s visibility along Clay Road, the ability to obtain a high-pile permit, and the ability to design an efficient office layout to fit their long-term needs. ClayPoint—three buildings totaling about 500k SF—is now 100% leased.
