KBS Realty purchased 1800 Bering and plans to elevate it to Class-A.

Xx tells us the 172k SF office building was 95% leased at closing. The firm was particularly drawn to its location, walking distance from amenities and neighborhoods.  It also liked the attractive two-story lobby, which is unique for buildings of this size in this submarket. Plus, it’s got largely unobstructed views throughout its 10 stories.

KBS will implement renovations, including adding an on-site management office. JLL’s Rudy Hubbard and Kevin McConn repped seller Fuller Realty Partners. KBS now owns seven office buildings in Houston totaling nearly 1.8M SF.
