A Denver shopping center has been rebranded, and owner Stockdale Capital will renovate the space to add a park and improve common areas.
Stockdale announced that The Shops at Northfield in the Central Park neighborhood will be renamed Avenues at Northfield, the Denver Business Journal reported.

A 6K SF common space will feature a children’s play area, expanded dining spaces and programming space for events like concerts and fitness classes. Other improvements will include expanded walkways, landscaping and new wayfinding.
Construction is underway, with completion scheduled for before the 2026 holiday season.
The project’s design team consists of Cooper Carry, Lifescape Colorado and CSI Construction Co.
In addition to the construction, the shopping center has attracted new businesses to open this year and next year, including Miniso, 3 Margaritas, Wayfair and Life Time Fitness.

LEASES
Bron Tapes Holding LLC will fully lease an 82K SF industrial facility at Hub Arapahoe in Centennial. The lease brings Hub Arapahoe, a 22-acre, 304K SF Class-A industrial campus from Jordon Perlmutter & Co., to 75% preleased. The campus is in the second phase of construction, which should be completed in May.
In addition to Bron Tapes, Pacific Office Automation is also leasing space at the campus, leaving 40K SF available for lease.

Elon Musk’s The Boring Co. turned down a proposed 330-foot underground pedestrian tunnel project at Denver’s Ball Arena. The project was one of 16 finalists in a competition from The Boring Co., but the tunneling company ultimately picked three projects in Baltimore, Dallas and New Orleans.

Denver city officials contracted with CivCheck, an artificial intelligence reviewing tool from Clariti, to help speed up its permitting process. CivCheck will be implemented into the city’s permitting process this year in phases.
