Update On Frisco’s $1B The Gate

Developers for the 41-acre mixed-use The Gate near the new Cowboys world HQ now say the project may cost nearly $1B to complete, according to a Dallas Business Journal report. The Dubai-based Invest Group Overseas may start construction before year’s end on the first phase, which features about 350 apartments. Additional pieces of the project include more multifamily, luxury condos, townhomes, office and a luxury hotel. Gensler is designing the project. Halff Associates designed the infrastructure. [DBJ]
