BH Properties Acquires Radio Shack Industrial In Fort Worth

BH Properties, a California-based company that specializes in acquiring distressed assets, closed on a deal to buy six Radio Shack properties, including five in Fort Worth that total 1.8M SF. The sixth property was in Sacramento.

The company has already fully backfilled one of the Radio Shack buildings. The Marco Co leased 318k SF at 1000 Terminal Rd while Dunavant Enterprises, Walmart, Saddle Creek Logistics and United Refrigeration have taken short-term leases totaling 430k SF, according to GlobeSt.

Including 409k SF leased in an industrial property BH Properties owns in El Paso, the company has booked more than 1.15M SF in Texas in just the last few months.

Industrial real estate is at a historically low 6% vacancy rate in Tarrant County, according to market reports. [GlobeSt]
