Virgin Hotels Will Start Dallas Construction In Spring

A Virgin Hotel is set to open in Dallas in early 2018. The 200-room property will preside over Hi Line Drive at Turtle Creek Boulevard.

Dunhill Partners bought the 33-acre site and 700k SF of buildings in 2014. The new hotel will replace a 25k SF brick building on the property, according to the Dallas Morning News. The hotel will offer multiple restaurants, taverns, including Virgin’s flagship space, The Commons Club, a rooftop terrace with a pool, a gym and a spa, plus numerous meeting spaces.

Virgin Hotel will sit among furniture showrooms, avant-garde art galleries, museums, antique shops, and new restaurants and shops that make up the Dallas Design District.

A second Dunhill project is being drafted for Stemmons Freeway at Edison Street, opposite Victory Park. [DMN]
