In a string of recent news from The Statler, the historic renovation on Commerce Street, developer Centurion American Development Group has released details on the management company that will run five new restaurants at its Curio Hilton hotel.

In June, Dallas' tax increment finance district gave Centurion American Development Group more time to complete the historic renovation. It is now set to deliver this fall, one year longer than its original October 2016 timeline.

More recently, Centurion has moved forward by partnering with hotel management company Epic F&B. Epic F&B will operate all room services, events and food and beverage at The Statler, including 58K SF of restaurant and event space. Aimbridge Hospitality will manage the hotel. 

Epic F&B was formed in 2016 when Turn The Tables Hospitality and Plan B Group Inc. partnered. Epic F&B partner Todd Conger will head daily operations at The Statler. Dallas chef Graham Dodds will serve as culinary director over the newly created five food and beverage concepts and a 12K SF ballroom. The concepts include:

• Overeasy: a farm-to-table restaurant serving three meals daily with alfresco dining

• Scout: a 12K SF social space with sharable food, craft beer, live music, bowling and games 

• Fine China: a full-service Pan-Asian restaurant and cocktail bar serving lunch and dinner

• Bourbon & Banter: an underground cocktail lounge 

• Waterproof: a poolside bar on the 19th floor of the Statler 

Centurion American Group developer in June asked Dallas’ tax increment finance district for an extra year to complete the renovation of the historic Statler Hotel. The new deadline for the $225M project, which includes a 159-room Curio by Hilton, is October 2018. Residents have already moved in to some of the 219 multifamily units.
