Not even slipping and sliding could stop the folks at the Frisco Economic Development Corp from going to work on Friday. Frisco EDC pres Jim Gandy made the rounds to pick up colleagues in his four-wheel drive Tahoe, VP Nancy Windham tells us.

Holt Lunsford's Emily LaVaccare with boyfriend Taylor Criswell (a commercial and industrial underwriter at Regions Bank in Houston) is pictured in what she calls "the coldest moment of her life." She and Taylor attended the Baylor-UT game at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco on Saturday night. She was warmed a bit by celebrating Baylor's Big 12 championship, but the high-fives couldn't do much about that freezing fog that rolled in during the fourth quarter.

Commercial real estate photographer Jim Wilson had some great subjects for his artistry this weekend: his grandchildren, who also happen to be the offspring of Republic Title prez Bo Feagin (and Jim's daughter, Jennifer Feagin). Jim tells us he spent the weekend pulling the grandchildren around his property in Allen.

DHR International EVP Sayres Dudley snapped his 10-year-old grandson, Myles, braving the elements on Friday on about three inches of ice in Frisco. Sayres swears the child was plenty warm despite the lack of boots. (Maybe a great Christmas present idea, Grandpa.) Just wait, Myles. We'll probably all be in flip-flops and shorts on Christmas Day.
