We rocked our socks off last week at Eastlake, Corporate Concepts, Knoll, Interior Construction Group (ICG), Ruder, Milliken, Inter Ocean and Vortex's David Bowie party at the Museum of Contemporary Art, where over 250 commercial real estate brokers and project managers gathered to pay tribute to the Thin White Duke. Some event hosts, snapped: Milliken's Kris Imala and Liz Curtis; ICG's Steve Zuwala; Eastlake's Christina Brown and "Major" Tom Zurowski; Corporate Concepts' Mark Dillon and Neill Malone; Ruder's Matt Ruder; and Vortex's Kristy Burlingame. Here's your Chicago reporter with Bisnow fans Anna Shires and Abbey Jennings. The best part of the evening was unfettered access to the MCA's David Bowie Is exhibit, a restrospective on the man who invented glam. We highly recommend it and loved the location-based headphone feature, which changes up music and commentary depending on where you stand. David Bowie's wide range of passions, from painting to miming, are astounding in their chameleon creativity. Your Chicago reporter saw him in concert in high school, and can definitively say this "Space Oddity" fell to earth with some extraterrestrial talent.
