We’re excited to introduce you to Bisnow’s new Chicago reporter, Rachel Cromidas, who comes to us from the Chicago Tribune's RedEye, where she spent two years trying to convince Millennials to read the news and was caught on tape tackling a police officer (legally!) for a story. Rachel, who was born in Manhattan but considers herself a Chicagoan at heart, studied legal theory and gender studies at the University of Chicago before going on to report on urban education, crime and transportation for the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal and the Chicago Tribune. In her free time she rides her bike all over the city, geeks out about the latest urban planning news, and takes full advantage of living in the Loop.
