CRE Supports Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

Ovarian cancer is silent but deadly, the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women ages 35-74. That’s why MB Real Estate is participating in the “Teal Lights” campaign for the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC) and Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. MBRE’s HQ, 181 W Madison, will glow teal until Sept. 27 to promote education about the disease and improve survival rates (early detection is key) and quality of life. Over the weekend, your Chicago reporter attended a 5K Dog Walk put on by the Ovarian Cancer Symptom Awareness Organization, which recently sponsored a dog being trained at the University of Pennsylvania’s vet school to detect early stage ovarian cancer.
