A group of around 40 protesters marched to the site of Property Markets Group's planned development of 120 luxury apartments in Logan Square yesterday. The demonstrators argue that this and other developments will hasten the gentrification of Logan Square and lead to displacement of residents who won't be able to afford the $1,500 rents on the development, DNAInfo reports. The "L" building, as it's known, is one of four planned residential complexes on that stretch of Milwaukee Avenue. [DNA]
