Merit School of Music is the site of a community meeting at 6pm tonight to discuss a proposed addition to the Lake Street Lofts on 900-924 W Lake St. Developer FitzGerald Associates announced a plan in April to build a 10-story tower containing 81 apartments, 65 parking spaces and 2,415 SF of retail on the site, which is near the Morgan Street "L" station. The glass and brick building would blend in with existing architecture and would be an ideal TOD. This would be a great chance for residents to learn more about the project. Merit School of Music is located at 38 S Peoria St.
