1000 South Clark Celebrates Grand Opening In Style

It was hot fun in the summertime as JDL Development announced the grand opening of 1000 South Clark, its 29-story, 469-unit luxury apartment tower in the South Loop. JDL and its partner in the building, iStar, invited 300 guests to tour the studio and one-bedroom models—designed by Crate & Barrel, West Elm, Room & Board and Interior Define—along with more than 43k SF of amenities.

In addition to the outdoor terrace, 1000 South Clark's amenities include an indoor/outdoor pool and rooftop running track; a 10k SF state-of-the-art fitness center; basketball and racquetball courts; and a virtual golf simulator and putting area. There are multiple gathering areas, including a penthouse roof deck, a library lounge and wine bar, a chef’s demonstration kitchen, a game room and billiards lounge, a neighborhood bar room with customizable beer taps, a news room and media lounge, and a boardroom and business center. A four-story garage attached to the west façade of the tower will provide parking for 327 vehicles. In a first for a residential building in Chicago, 1000 South Clark is home to Bark on Clark, a full-service, privately run pet care and boarding facility operated in partnership with Sit! Pet Care.

1000 South Clark is 60% leased.
