The Missner Group and Sitex started construction on a new spec warehouse in the busy O'Hare submarket. The 84K SF facility at 1075 Chaddick Drive in Wheeling is expected to be completed in early 2018.

The Missner-Sitex JV is casting a wide net of uses for the building. When completed, it will accommodate both small and midsize users, and will be available to a single user or divisible for two tenants. The warehouse building will feature office-to-suit, 30-foot clear heights, efficient building dimensions, 10 exterior loading docks, two drive-in doors and 99 parking stalls.

Missner Group CEO Barry Missner said the building's location near the interstates servicing O'Hare Airport, and access to labor and executive communities, make this a viable project for its portfolio and an attractive option for an end user seeking a modern facility in a submarket with high barriers to entry. Missner Group Senior Project Manager Ron Cinkus and Project Superintendent Dan Castrogiovanni will lead construction. Harris Architects will provide the architectural services.
