Anti-Defamation League Honors HYM Investment Group's Tom O'Brien

Congrats to Tom O’Brien, founder of The HYM Investment Group, who has been awarded the 2016 Abraham Joshua Heschel Interfaith Relations Award by the Anti-Defamation League. He received the award for his efforts in improving relations between racial, religious and ethnic groups. (This video from the organization details some of his achievements.)

Tom was chair of the ADL’s Nation of Immigrants Annual Seder for many years, and established The Foundation for Marisol’s Journey to honor the memory of his daughter, Marisol Liliana O’Brien. The foundation supports research into leukodystrophy, also known as Vanishing White Matter Disease or CACH, as well as the health and education of children in Guatemala through the efforts of Mil Milagros Inc. It also supports families in need caring for children with neurological disorders.
