WeWork Plans Cambridge Location In Early '17

WeWork is bringing another location to greater Boston, its third, this time in Cambridge. The new co-working facility will be at 625 Mass Ave, in Central Square—pretty much equidistant between Harvard and MIT. It will have about 550 desks and be open some time in early 2017, the Boston Business Journal reports.

The company's existing locations in Boston are in Fort Point (pictured) and near South Station. WeWork now has even more Chinese money backing it up, having raised $260M in additional Series F funding from new investor Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels, the better to expand in Asia. It has nearly 100 locations thus far. [BBJ]
