Trans National Wants To Build Fenway Neighborhood Residential Tower

Trans National Properties is planning a 325-unit residential tower at 2 Charlesgate West, about a block from Fenway Park. The property would include a mix of rental units and condos, and take the place of an existing building, currently the Trans National HQ.

Another tower underway in the Fenway neighborhood is Pierce Boston by Samuels & Associates, and Trans National is also vying to build a tower at Winthrop Square Garage, the Boston Business Journal reports.

Trans National plans to rebrand an existing stretch of Ipswich Street near the development as “Arts Fenway,” an art-driven streetscape improvement program. That will involve improvements to landscaping, lighting, pedestrian accessibility and safety. [BBJ]
