Peregrine Group of Rumford, RI, and St. Marks Area Main Street have proposed a 64-unit multifamily development on Dorchester Avenue in Dorchester’s Ashmont/Peabody Square neighborhood.
The site is across the street from both the Ashmont/Peabody Square MBTA Red Line stop and The Carruth, a six-story residential building. Peregrine Group has acquired the rights to buy the existing 5,728 SF building at 1943 Dorchester Ave, formerly the Odwin Learning Center site, which is currently owned by the Codman Square Health Center, the Boston Business Journal reports.
The site also includes a 23-space parking lot currently used by Tavolo, an adjacent restaurant. [BBJ]
