Toll To Build Apartments

Toll Apartment Living, a subsidiary of Toll Brothers (big into single-family homes), is diving into the multifamily market here, senior development manager Bill Lovett (at a recent Bisnow event) tells us. It’s preparing to start 20 months of construction this fall on its first Boston-area multifamily project; 250-apartments on Rte 9 in Westborough. Toll Apartment Living is also scouting for more apartment and condo development opportunities in the metro area. Like other places where it’s active in multifamily—DC, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and San Francisco—the company considers Boston to be a core market with strong demographics, Bill says.
