In an effort to forge a path for women to succeed in Boston CRE (aka the ol boys network), NEWiRE held its third annual Women of Legacy event Tuesday with successful execs sharing their wisdom. On stage: The Drew Co EVP Susan Allen, New England Development CFO Dawn Neher, JLL managing director Tamie Thompson and Partners Healthcare System VP real estate Kathryn West. Of 43 JLL Boston brokers,Tamie noted: three are women. These womensuggest: cultivate relationships with prospective clients, colleagues, and employers by joining groups, corporate boards, and socializing. Every day, focus on explicit and manageable goals; five, not 10.
