An apartment building with 175 units and amenities that include a saltwater pool and yoga studio debuted this month in Towson.
Taylor Property Group and Klein Enterprises developed the Southerly at 901 Southerly Road, walking distance to Towson Town Center and downtown Towson. Billed as luxury apartments, the one-, two- and three-bedroom units rent for between $1,595 and $2,275/month. A grilling area with bocce and cornhole, a café, a sundeck and a business center are among the property's features.
Designed by JDavis Architects, the building is the latest project in and near downtown Towson as developers and county officials aim to make the town attractive to Millennials who want to live near restaurants and employers.
