CGT Manufacturing To Build In New Braunfels

CGT US Limited will build a new manufacturing facility in New Braunfels. The new plant, which will produce coated fabrics and films for the auto industry, will create at least 275 new jobs in the Hill Country community and pour an $80M capital investment into Texas, according to Gov. Greg Abbott.

Gov. Abbott said in a statement that the project will reshore part of the company’s manufacturing from China and increase North American capacity.

CGT received a $2M Texas Enterprise Fund grant to recruit the company to New Braunfels.The TEF grant was founded in 2003 and is used to attract new companies to Texas.
