Beacham, right, here with colleague Sammie Smith, passed away Tuesday night of complications from surgery. ?We'll always remember Rutledge and the indelible impression he left,? Carter Chairman and CEO Bob Peterson said. In Washington, BOMA International leaders were saddened by the loss of a longtime member who held several local and regional leadership positions. ?Rutledge has been a part of the fabric of the organization,? said BOMA International chief Henry Chamberlain. ?We got a lot of things done because of him. At the time of his death, Beacham, 64, oversaw management of 2.7M SF that included the three office towers at Atlantic Station and Piedmont West Medical Office Building.
