Dilweg Picks Up Centennial Tower

Durham-based Dilweg Cos has picked up a prime Class-A Downtown Atlanta tower. The firm purchased Centennial Tower from Jackson Corporate Real Estate for an undisclosed sum. The 36-story, 650k SF tower at 101 Marietta St is home to both Turner Broadcasting System and the exec offices for the Atlanta Dream and the Atlanta Hawks. CBRE's Jay O'Meara brokered the sale. “Overall we are very bullish on downtown Atlanta, and we believe Centennial Tower is well-positioned to capitalize on the area’s continued revitalization,” says Dilweg CEO Anthony Dilweg. “The Atlanta office market is booming right now. We have acquired more than 1.2M SF of value-add office space in the last week alone and are diligently looking to add to our Atlanta portfolio over the next 24 months."
