Amazon is already a major office tenant in NYC, occupying 470k SF at Vornado's 7 West 34th St, but it needs even more space as it seeks to become ever more omnipresent in our lives.

The online retailing behemoth is looking for 250k SF ready for occupancy in 2018, just two years after it signed its deal with Vornado, The Real Deal reports. This time, JLL broker Derek Trulson has the assignment, and figures to be fêted wherever he goes until Amazon finds a landlord.

Amazon also occupies 132k SF at SL Green's 1350 Avenue of the Americas, the office building where it first made its NYC office entrée in 2009. It's unclear if the space it's seeking is for an expansion or 250k SF of pure positive absorption. With a 2018 expected move-in date, we'll likely find out sooner rather than later. [TRD]
