Salesforce Remains a Target

Rumors of a possible sale of Salesforce continue to gain steam. Current market valuation stands at $49B, and Bloomberg has reported that Microsoft is evaluating a bid. A mystery bidder is also in the running and Silicon Valley Watcher's Tom Foremski has speculated that Oracle may fit the bill. (Foremski also sees a great fit for Salesforce CEO and founder Marc Benioff as a possible replacement for Oracle CEO Larry Ellison.)
