It's been a tough slog for tech companies doing government work. BirchGrove president Ray Bjorklund, who spoke at this week's Bisnow Northern Virginia State of the Market event in Falls Church, says government contracting is going to get worse. We'll be steady til 2016, then contractor-addressable spending drops $10B to $15B from $735B. Ray, who consults tech companies selling to the government, says firms will need to think more realistically about their growth potential and develop tech specializations.
