Teqcorner Expanding

National Tech
Placeholder

Teqcorner, one of the region's first co-working spaces, has a new director. And one of the first things Joel Cisneros wants to clear up: Teqcorner is not closing, despite some rumors. The 36k SF Tysons space at 1616 Anderson Rd is expanding about 2,000 SF to include a more open, collaborative area. Set to open in about six weeks, iLounge will be another type of product offered along with its traditional office spaces. Joel says Teqcorner, which houses about 65 companies, realized it needed to offer more options to members. Competition has heated up with 1776, ÜberOffices, and WeWork expanding in the region. iLounge is big enough for about 20 users, and the fees to use it are still being worked out.
