Yes, Dots is free but it’s those in-app purchases that will help push revenue. Tablet users will spend more on in-game purchases and generate more revenue per device than smartphone users. Other trends to watch: Interactive entertainment will focus on convenience, accessibility, and online streaming; rising disposable income and smartphone adoption will spur big in-game purchasing revenue in Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia; and app stores will focus on personalizing how users find the games.
