DC tech companies WeddingWire, Social Radar, and Speek introduced a virtual wedding product for couples wanting their ceremonies completely online. (Pants are optional.)  And iStrategyLabs introduced BeardSwipe, a new biometric technology that unlocks a user’s phone by swiping their beard across the screen. It’s called Beardprint Recognition Technology, or BRT. If those ideas sound absurd, then you probably quickly figured out they were yesterday's April Fools jokes. WeddingWire says over 600 clicked on its SocialWeddingSpeek link. And the BeardSwipe promo video, which shows men with the fullest of beards lovingly rubbing their phones across their faces, had 40,000 views.
