GALVESTON, Texas: Hunt Brings Military Back to School

Placeholder

Hunt Cos is translating its expertise in military housing (having built 70,000 military homes) into student housing, developing a 612-unit, on-campus cadet residence hall for Texas A&M University at Galveston. (Students, however, will not be required to make their beds. They would riot.) The $45M project includes two residential wings connected to a central commons, illuminated formation court, and classrooms, office space, and support-related retail. It will begin in Q2 and complete in fall 2015. This is the first partnership between Hunt and the Texas A&M University system.
