This Year's LEEP Winners!

The 2015 Lighting Energy Efficiency in Parking (LEEP) Campaign recognized high-achieving facilities across 20 categories, including lighting retrofits, lighting in new construction projects and parking sector-specific categories. Michael Myer from Pacific Northwest National Laboratory presented the awards and told attendees at this morning's general session that there are more than 700 million off-street parking spaces in the US, and lighting them is one of the most important attributes to consider for a property owner. Add in the rush to make all aspects of commercial real estate more energy efficient and sustainable, and these owners have made quite the value-add investment. The LEEP Campaign is a program offering free guidance and recognition to facility owners interested in implementing energy-efficient lighting solutions in their parking lots and structures.
