A Butler Courtesy Of Your Developer

Count it as another volley in the race for attractive amenities. Residents of JS Sullivan'One Franklin now will have their own butler through Hello Alfred. In a first for a West Coast developer, residents will have access to services including “weekly grocery delivery, laundry pick-up, trash/recycling take-out, tidying up (and) bed-making.”

The service is among several amenities the developer is offering tenants. JS Sullivan has established other partnerships to offer on-demand valet parking from Luxe, Uber credits, a discount from interior design and furnisher BoConcept and Market Street Cycles credits.

JS Sullivan managing principal Sean Sullivan was excited after inking these partnerships. “Our strategy is to bring a different kind of ‘full service’ aspect to the smaller boutique projects that we develop without the high HOA dues that are typically associated with full-service condominiums,” he said.

Adding amenities in the form of Uber credits or Hello Alfred marks a new trend in residential development. Younger workers have grown comfortable with the idea of having additional comforts along with the typical housing experience. Some developers are even experimenting with offering healthcare clinics on-site.
