Is The US Economy Struggling? Or Recovering?

Placeholder

After struggling for the last three months of 2015 (and the beginning of '16), many analysts say the US economy looks like it's rebounding. Just not as strongly as expected.

The Commerce Department issues its final growth estimate for the October to December quarter Friday.

And the report is expected to say the economy expanded annually at a 1% rate. If so, growth will amount to just half the 2% annual growth from the July to September period, TheStreet reports.

Looking at 2016 as a whole, analysts are projecting 2% growth—a dip from last year’s  2.4%—raising the question: is 0.4% less growth than last year really a rebound? [TheStreet]
